Foxburg Country Club's quaint log clubhouse is the home of the AGHF Library-Museum. Photos & exhibits depict the history of golf from its beginnings over 400 years ago.
Golf was introduced to America by Joseph M. Fox, a wealthy businessman from the Emlenton area who learned the game in St. Andrews. He built a 9-hole course on his Foxburg estate and then later built the Foxburg Country Club. Oldest golf course in continuous use in the USA. Open April through October, 7 days a week.
