Chili cook off, winter hike, reindeer-pulled wagon rides, ice skating, building snowmen. Cook forest is a winter wonderland this time of year so plan on staying the weekend to enjoy the scenery and relax in one of the rustic lodges or cabins. You cant beat a winter escape in the forest!

Hundreds of Chainsaw Carvers from across the country and around the world compete and display their art in Ridgway. Includes ice carvings, chainsaw carving auction and more. Kicking off the event on the 17th, ESPN reality series “Going Fishing” will be on hand to whisk someone away from the festival and award them a first class fishing trip of a lifetime.

Gunners in St Marys

After the big party in Punxsutawney on Feb. 2, head to Gunners for the Brew Fest! Showcasing unique craft beer to the North Central Region of PA. Includes beer tasting glass, beer tasting, brew-fest buffet, live entertainment. Prior to event, running bus tours to Straub Brewery. Gunners also has great rates on their overnight accommodations.
